1½ oz STARR african rum
¾ oz fresh lime juice
¾ oz SPICED simple syrup (cooked with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg)
3 slices of BLOOD ORANGE
2 cracks of fresh black pepper
dash of ANGOSTURA bitters
sprig of mint

Gently muddle slices of blood orange in a rocks glass to extract juice and color. Add all other ingredients and top with ice. Shake, garnish with mint and enjoy!
